Umami Festival is the largest event that TU events organises. It is the first premium wine and gastronomy festival, which promotes the best Greek wines and producers, alongside the specially limited and gourmet food products. This is a festival open to the public as well as the professionals, it has a premium character and its purpose is to expand and promote the important Greek wineries and gastronomic food products coming from every part of Greece, as well as some imported.

Umami Festival Thessaly ’19 returns to its biannual event in Larissa, Greece on the 16th & 17th November 2019.
The doors of Divani Palace Larissa will open and welcome the country’s top winemakers, distillers and wine importers in conjunction with fine gastronomy products at an innovative exhibition.
Wine & gastronomy lovers and professionals will once again have the chance to get to know the people behind the products in the most flavourful weekend!
Wine Fair
A two-day event for anyone who knows or wants to learn more about quality wine, spirits and exceptional gastronomic products. Try hundreds of different wines and spirits from top wineries and distilleries from all over the country and abroad!
Greek wine is on the rise, gaining more and more audiences in Greece and abroad. The aim of the festival is to grow the wine culture of the country through a unique event, while creating a new trend of combining street food and wine.
Gastronomy
Greek gastronomy lovers are constantly growing, enabling more and more gastronomic products to emerge. Greek producers of specialty gastronomic products will sample and market their products to consumers and professionals. Taste top products from the best!
The Meat & Fire project by Mirsini Lambraki will present another unique tasting experience to the festival! Meats grilled on fire, will give you the opportunity to taste a very special and of course… Umami street food experience!
Masterclass & Tasting Session
Leading presenters of wine and gastronomy, will present unique tasting seminars, offering rare tasting experiences in the specially designed room of the Divani Palace Larissa Hotel.
Tasting Session with Myrsini Lambraki
Meat cuts, marinades & exotic roasts will be available for tasting by those who will make their reservations on time for this original meat and wine tasting masterclass.
Meats grilled and roasted in a variety of ways will be presented by the grill chef and tasted together with selected wines.
Masterclass of Greek & International Wines: Tasting & Parallel Style with Sommelier George Loukas
A different, experiential trip to Greece and the rest of the world through emblematic grape varieties. Under the guidance of Deals’ top sommelier George Loukas Wine Brand Manager, we will get to know the characteristics of 10 wines with parallel tastes – five from Greece and five from the rest of the world.
The flagship terroir of the Greek and foreign vineyards are presented side by side to highlight the differences and similarities in the characteristics of the grapes.
