Umami Festival

Umami Festival is the largest event that TU events organises. It is the first premium wine and gastronomy festival, which promotes the best Greek wines and producers, alongside the specially limited and gourmet food products. This is a festival open to the public as well as the professionals, it has a premium character and its purpose is to expand and promote the important Greek wineries and gastronomic food products coming from every part of Greece, as well as some imported.

The Schedule

Friday 17 November

20.00 | The Wine Producers Dinner at the restaurant “FROURIO”.
A meal exclusively for the winemakers who will take part AT the Umami Festival Thessaly and will experience a taste of the local gastronomy of Thessaly.

Saturday 18 November

12.00 – 20.00 | Opening of the Wine & Gastronomy Festival
Divani Palace hotel

14.00 – 15.00 | Wine Masterclass – Gerovasiliou Estate
Vertical tasting of the red wines of the estate, presented by Argyris Gerovasiliou, MW Yiannis Karakasis & Christos Dimistos.

16.00 – 17.00 | Wine Masterclass – Domaine Skouras
The rare and scrumptious wines of Skouras estate will be presented in a unique Masterclass by the winemaker Mr. George Skouras.

18.00 – 19.00 | Wine Masterclass – Domaine Costa Lazaridi
Drama vs Marathonas! Wines are being tasted against the wines of Marathonas, always under the vinification of Costa Lazaridi. “Costa Lazaridi VS Oenotria Land”.

19.00 – 20.00 | Speciality Coffee Masterclass – Las Ramblas
Masterclass conducted by Mr. Achilleas Papachatzis with the topic “Tasting while getting to know the best quality coffee”.
