Umami Festival

Umami Festival is the largest event that TU events organises. It is the first premium wine and gastronomy festival, which promotes the best Greek wines and producers, alongside the specially limited and gourmet food products. This is a festival open to the public as well as the professionals, it has a premium character and its purpose is to expand and promote the important Greek wineries and gastronomic food products coming from every part of Greece, as well as some imported.

Umami Festival Alexandroupoli ’24 is back!

On Sunday 12th May 2024, TU Events after an absence of 5 years – returns and prepares in Alexandroupolis the organization of our favorite wine & gastronomy festival!

A new space, in the heart of the city opens by the sea side of the port for the first time is welcoming the best winemakers, distillers and distribution networks, the wine connoisseurs and gastronomy professionals of Greece.

Wines, spirits and touches of gastronomy once again gather to the organization of TU events that we all missed!

The doors of the brand new Warehouse 2 in the port of Alexandroupolis are opening for the first time to the public for yet another groundbreaking event.
Winelovers, gastronomy lovers and professionals will once again have the opportunity to get to know the professionals behind the products, in the most delicious experience of the town!

Wine Exhibition

One full day event for everyone who knows or wanted to know more about quality wine, spirits and specialty culinary products. Taste among hundreds of different wines and spirits from leading wineries and distillers from all over the country and abroad!

Wine in Greece is on the rise over the past decade, gaining more and more audiences in Greece and abroad every year. The purpose of the festival is to expand the country’s wine map through an original event, while creating new trends for combining food and wine.

Gastronomy

Gastronomy lovers in Greece are constantly increasing, enabling more and more gastronomy products to shine. Greek producers of special products will sample and promote their products to consumers and professionals. Taste top products from the best!

TU Canteen

TU Canteen’s live cooking will prepare street food recipes in the outdoor area of the festival. Recipes made by Umami Pasta Fresca as well as new culinary suggestions will be waiting for you to taste our own culinary proposal which, as always, pairs perfectly with the wine!

Wine Tasting Square

The wine tasting square will be available outside, next to the TU Canteen, offering wine selections to match the street food being cooked in front of you! Enjoy the wine of your choice from wineries being present in the festival area and beyond.

Side events in the city

Umami Festival collaborates with selected restaurants, wine bars and wine cellars, offering a complete two-day celebration of wine and flavors, with wine parties, special tasting presentations and other original events, throughout the region!
